Eric G is a Dutch radio host and house music DJ & Producer for St, Maarten’s X104.3FM, and one of the most successful radio show producers in the Caribbean.

At age 18, Eric G started his professional DJ and radio career in Curaçao in 1980 at a popular local radio station called Radio Hoyer 2 with his daily show ‘Discover’.
He started collecting vinyl and his music became more than just a hobby, it was now a major part of his life. Eric G became heavily influenced by the Motown Funk and Studio 54 disco sound of this music era, some of his favourites being Michael Jackson, Gap Band, Earth Wind & Fire, Shalamar, Donna Summer, Cerrone and Giorgio Moroder.

Eric G started to pay more attention to the 80’s synth-infused music scene and took a great liking to this early house music. He started his collection of house music in 1984 and was playing house and funk with productions from Farley Jackmaster Funk, Jesse Saunders, Marshal Jefferson, Frankie Knuckles, Lil Louis, Fast Eddie and many more. In 1990, Eric G moved to St. Maarten and began working at GBBC 99.9 Choice FM on the Dutch side of the island, and radio station RCI2 on St. Martin, the French side of the 2 nations island. It was a great move for Eric G and his shows became more and more popular with thousands of listeners regionwide, which led to bookings at big events in neighboring islands such as Bonaire, Suriname and Aruba. This launched a successful DJ-ing career with residencies in his current homeland at News Music Café, Bliss Nightclub, Bamboo, Platinum Room, Tantra, and many others. Many tracks pioneered on his show which placed Eric G on the map in both countries as a respected and influential DJ on the house circuit.

With regular bookings in Malta, the Netherlands, Aruba, Curaçao, Canada, USA, Cyprus, Czech Republic and Belgium, Eric G’s international following is growing by the day, and new requests coming in from places like Spain and Asia. He has shared the stage with Erick Morillo, Sam Feldt, Sidney Samson, Bassjackers, DJ Jean, Funk D, Jayson Miro, Julian Prince and many other world renowned DJ's. He has also played at the acclaimed SXM Festival, which is now recognized as one of the most prestigious festivals worldwide in underground electronic music.
